Feed Back

Questions:

Just wondering if you had any feed back on what technique worked best for the anglers that placed in the top 10?

We had a few problems adjusting to the cold front and the muddy waters that were stirred up by the winds the day before.

Great tournament and event and Malcolm and I are looking forward to the next event in Cornwall.

Sincerely, Jacques Sauve

Answer:
Winning team Pascal Picard and Alexandre Plante had engine problems and were forced to fish close to the launch/start area; they slowly fished jerkbaits around the docks up and down from the ramp.

Second team Louis Potvin and JF Guilbeault (walk-on) looked for clear water and fished using traditional methods.

Third team & Big Fish Yves Gagnon and Mike Giard found some arrowheads in clear water and pitched texas rigged craws and Sweat Beavers. They also caught some small mouths on a spot where normally poppers work. Since the water was tinted, they caught them on tubes as the bass were hugging bottom.

Thanks Jacques for the interest,
